Nedal’s professional team

The enthusiastic motivated Nedal team, with its knowledge and expertise, is responsible for all premium quality products. With over 200 staff members, Nedal, in the span of 85 years, has become an expert in the manufacturing of aluminium profiles, flagpoles and lighting columns which are delivered worldwide. All this from our own factory in Utrecht.
We work hard and take the products we develop and produce very seriously. Nevertheless we do enjoy a joke and great conversation. Nedal is characterized by a pleasant an enthusiastic and informal atmosphere. No surprise then that the average length of service at Nedal is 13 years. At Nedal we employ colleagues of all ages, from every corner of the globe and educated at trade or academic levels.

Social Return

Nedal has an active policy in helping people with a disability to find work and be active in the labor market. In addition Nedal helps employees prepare for a well-deserved retirement after a long career.

We work with AutiTalent, an organisation that focuses specifically on the talents of people with autism. These people assist us in the area of repetitive administrative tasks (checking purchase orders, digital archiving etc.).

Gender Equity and Women’s Empowerment.

Nedal pursues an active policy of equal opportunities for all. At intake it comes to getting hired regardless of sex, religion, cultural background, etc. And in advancement that means equal opportunities when it comes to training and career opportunities. Equal salaries, enforcement of the CAO metalektro, the possibility of joining a trade union (including tax-deferred membership) or the works council. We distance ourselves from child labour, human trafficking and forced labour by not employing any children ourselves (directly or indirectly).

Measures to promote Gender Equity and Women’s Empowerment:

  • Especially for female employees, Nedal has a female confidant.
  • To prevent bullying/discrimination based on gender, origin, religious beliefs or other characteristics, an information campaign has been rolled out for all employees.
  • Measures have been implemented to report any violations anonymously (whistleblowing scheme).
