Nedal's revolutionary Smart City lighting columns are continuously connected to a (5G) transmission tower. They then serve as distribution points for the incoming signal, making the range on the street ultra-strong. This is not only an advantage for now, but also for a future in which, for example, self-driving cars will dominate the street scene.
As part of the Euopean IRIS project, we have implemented this smart lighting column and combinded it with an illuminating roadcrossing in Kanaleneiland-Zuid.
