Alloys
The aluminum used for extruding profiles normally contains between 92% and 99% pure aluminum. Addition of alloy components such as silicon, copper, zinc, magnesium, manganese and zirconium give aluminum specific properties in terms of surface quality, strength, load-bearing capacity and conductivity.
