This is your new team:

You’ll be based in the heart of our extrusion department, where our presses transform aluminum billets into high-quality profiles every day. As Extrusion Production Manager, you’ll lead your team and ensure a safe, high-quality, and efficient production process. The operators work in a three-shift rotation; you’ll work the day shift and serve as the central point of contact for the extrusion department.

What are you going to do?

As Extrusion Production Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of the extrusion department. You ensure that processes run smoothly, employees develop their skills, and objectives are met. You maintain an overview, make adjustments where necessary, and serve as a liaison between all departments involved in the production process.

  • Preparing and analyzing reports, KPIs, and budgets
  • Initiating improvement projects and proposing investments and automation
  • Continuously improving and keeping work methods, resources, and machinery up to date
  • Coordinating daily production activities and setting priorities
  • Monitoring progress, lead times, delivery times, and quality
  • Assessing new product requests and technical feasibility
  • Managing approximately 60 employees and temporary staff, with a focus on well-being, development, and performance
  • Coaching, connecting, and developing your team
  • Chairing various work meetings
  • Coordinating and collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Ensuring safety, environmental protection, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Leading incident investigations and contributing to Lean EHS initiatives

As Extrusion Production Manager, you are responsible for effectively managing our extrusion department, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality production process during the day shift.

Your profile

You are a collaborative and results-oriented leader who thrives on managing and developing teams. You know how to establish structure, make decisions, and get people on board with improvements.

Additionally, you preferably have:

  • A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree
  • Several years of managerial experience in a production environment
  • Experience with process optimization and working with KPIs and budgets
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • The drive to continuously improve and lead by example
  • Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English
  • VCA (or willingness to obtain it)
